The All Progressives Congress, APC, Niger State, has called on the people of the state to join hands in ensuring that the desired change is achieved by 2015.

The APC in its New Year message stated that the people of the state were tired of the current administration, stressing that APC would bring about the desired change in 2015.

“While we appreciate this tolerance and faith in our fellow brothers and sisters, we hereby solicit your unalloyed support to APC in its effort to effect a change, reshape the social, economic and political landscape in Niger State,” APC declared.

The APC’s New Year message signed by the publicity secretary of the party in the state, Solomon Nyaze stated further that “as a step towards achieving this, the party will begin registration of members in the first quarter of 2014. We, therefore, appeal to well-meaning citizens to join the battle for change and for the salvation of Niger State and Nigeria”.

However, in its own New Year message delivered by its chairman, Hon Abdulraman Enagi, the PDP said no matter what the oppositions does, the PDP government would not be distracted. It therefore, urged its members to remain focused ahead of the 2015 general elections.

“We should continue to be more focused and never allow any angry and immature politicians in the opposition parties to confuse and deceive us with fake promises and unrealisable dreams of a better tomorrow,” the party stated.
