Cleric in Niger state calls on the new elected leaders to fear Allah

Cleric in Niger State has call on the new elected leaders in the country to fear Allah at all time and to discharge their duties and also to fulfill the promises made to the electorates during their campaign.

The Chief Imam of Bosso Estate Juma’at Mosque in Minna Niger state, Ustaz Abdullahi Umar Faruq made this call in his Friday sermon, saying that though expectation by Nigerians from this new administration is too high but they should try as much as possible to look into the critical areas such as human development, education, health, power supply, agriculture, youths empowerment and security which is one of the biggest challenges in the country now.

Others include reviving of industries, factories and oil refineries that had collapsed in Nigeria, stressing that the President should do a serious investigation on killing of innocent people in plateau state and some part of the country.

Chief Imam also appeal to the New Governor of Niger State to please see into this year’s Hajj seat fees which he said is beyond the reach of the masses that are willing to perform this year’s Hajj. However, he call on Nigerians to be law abiding and everyone should find something to do, so as to be self reliant instead of engaging in begging which according to him Islam does not permit such act.

The chief Imam prayed Allah (SWT) to protect and guide this new administration.
